Lead by Bri Gufler, this workshop will start with a tour of Healthcare resources and happenings within the virtual world of Second Life (SL). Following the tour the workshop leader will outline a series of challenges and solutions to using SL for healthcare, including FDA restrictions on product advertising promotion, patient confidentiality, digital/electronic signatures, and validation/verification of objects and scripts used for data collection in SL.
This workshop will happen on Thursday August 13 from 2pm – 3:30pm.
