Interactive Workshop: The Future United – A conceptual roadmap of the next 12-18 months in Second Life

Wrapping many of the ideas and thoughts throughout this year’s SLCC will be the Interactive Workshop “The Future United – A conceptual roadmap of the next 12-18 months in Second Life” with Phelan Corrimal as speaker. The description of this workshop is:

Over the past three days the participants at the SLCC will have seen discussions, demos, workshops, roundtables and a whole host of new information. The variety of topics will have included topics ranging from “Inspire Engagement through Appearance and Branding” to  “Understanding SL’s fashion Industry” to “Legacy Machinima” to “Looking to the Future of Live Performance in SL”. While we each have our own little tracks, each track is dependent on the other – we are all interconnected and hence reliant on the skills and ideas shared across boundaries. This workshop represents the culmination of those ideas. In this 3 hr session participants are given an opportunity to help develop a conceptual mind map – a body of knowledge of what we have done well over the past year, what were the challenges, what we need, and where we can potentially go over the next 12 to 18 months.

The goal of this workshop is to provide each participant with a roadmap to take back to their organizations of ideas, capabilities, influential partners, and opportunities based on the best of what this year’s SLCC has to offer. The workshop is open to anyone from any track.

This workshop will be on Sunday, August 16th, and will begin at 10 am and end at 1 pm.
